Casa de Mav2u is now under construction
We finally found some land, picked a house, and signed the paper work so the contractors can start building our house. I'm finally glad I can escape this little tiny condo/apartment and be able to work on my vehicles in my own yard, as I'm sure my Dad will be glad I can clean my storage stuff out of his house.
Now we are going to go and pick out the colors of the counter-tops, floor type, carpet colors, appliance colors, and so on. I must say I never new how many options there are in building a house, I couldn't imagine how many there would be if we were having a huge house being built. I might have to pull my hair right out of my head! Another six to nine months until the house will be finished. Such a long wait, I wish it were sooner, but just maybe it will be finished before X-mas. Being able to move in before X-mas would be a treat indeed. We could finally put a full size X-mas tree up in the house, a real needle dropping, sticky sap dripping, smells like pine, X-mas tree.
I'll try to post pictures of the model home to give everyone an idea of the little house they will be constructing for us. It's a modest 1405 sqft under A/C with two car garage and 3bdrm/2bth. This house will work perfectly for us over the next couple of years as I finish up my school. Speaking of school, I need to finish up some homework and get some shut eye. So long people!

Bored? Need something to do? Try a online game
Since it's Friday, I'm inclined to goof off, and what better way to goof off than play an online game. You can go to one of my favorite sites that I always enjoyed playing Shockwave games on. If you're on a corporate network your loving network peeps might have your ability to download and install Shockwave disabled. You will be S.O.L, unless you could convince them some how you needed it for legit purposes. Although I highly doubt those mistrusting band of do gooding network kiddies will believe you.
Any who, you can go to this site called CANDYSTAND and play all sorts of games. My favorite one is the Pinball game, they used to have a really awesome miniature golf game, I unfortunalty do not see it anymore. So go have fun and waste away the Friday, this weekend is a three day Holiday for all you working people out there. Have fun and don't get sunburned!

I know where you Are!
I was doing my usual perusal of the internet, when I happened upon this nifty little snippet of code. What does it do you ask, well it does something fairly magical, it tells where you are located. I can't say if it's accurate or not, I'm leaving that task to all of you. Tell me if the script identifies the city that you are in. I'm mostly curious if this works for people with dialup or not.
Prediction below:
If you see nothing between here and the prediction line, then your city is not in the database. Your city not listed, click here to update your info click here

No Matrix for me! :-(
Well, I didn't get to go see the Movie Matrix, apparently it didn't open on Friday, it opens on Sunday. Although, it did open in the old, broken down Cobb Theatre in town, but who wants to go pay 7 bucks for that when you can go to the Cinema World down the street and have nice stadium seating, and state of the art surround sound. I guess I'll just have to go this Memorial Weekend, I'm sure it will be packed, I'll just have to brave the crowd!
So, no movie review this week after all. I'll have something to say next weekend for sure, I will see this movie before someone else does, which they will tell me all the good parts, I'll end up getting mad and I won't want to view it until it comes out on DVD. Yeah, right...Like that would ever happen! That's as likely as me not buying the Star Wars movies on DVD when they come out.

Matrix: Reloaded is HERE!!!!
O'boy, O'boy, I finally get to go to Matrix!! I'm going to go Sat. afternoon and brave the crowds to see it! I can't wait, I want to go tonight, but I'm not braving that long line of people on opening night. I'm dedicated, not insane! I hope they shoot it to DVD by Christmas, I know I'll enjoy this movie as much as the first, I've been watching all the reviews, and they all look cool.
I'll give a review of what I thought after I see it. Don't worry I won't give away the details.

How to fake a day at the office
I've discovered something very interesting, How to Fake A Hard Day at the Office. Not that I'm saying this is the right thing to do, but I could definitely get into playing office hooky from the corner cafe. This is something that those in charge of personnel might want to look at, maybe your own personnel are pulling the fast one on you?
I'll have to book mark this one for sure, only for future reference, of course! Hehe

Signs, Signs, Every Where Signs
Today I discovered a very interesting site for making fun signs. I suppose you could also make real life ones for real safety issues in your work place, but where would the fun be in doing something like that? You can go make your own signs by using this link here >>Signs<<
So what are you waiting for? Go make some wacked out goofy signs already.

Blog is up... Hooray, Yippee!!
Well, after much mental stress and about a gallon of Mountain Dew, I have finally got my blogging integrated into my main page. Although it is far from complete, I believe I have this page 75% complete. I just need to add my intro statement, play around with some more text, and insert my previous blogs into the archives.
Unfortunately, I still have to do the other pages: comments, archives, recent entries, and more if needed. I do believe I have my color theme and concept set in stone I just need to code the other templates now. Finally I have a automatic way in which to type my daily or weekly rants into my pages without a hint of effort. I hope you all enjoy my rants and feel free to post a comment of a PG-13 nature as I still like to keep the content here readable by all.
Thank you all and have a lovely day!
