To the Orange Bowl We Go!

I have been graceously given the opportunity to attend the FSU and Hurricanes game in Miami. These free tickets were given to me by a good friend so that I might watch FSU stomp the cramp outta Miami! This is my first time in a large College style arena, and we all plan to have some fun and enjoy the game. The game is in the Miami Pro Stadium which to my recollection is extremely large since the Miami Dolphins play at this arena. They apparently no longer have the Orange Bowl game in the Orange Bowl Stadium. Go Figure!

   FSU RULES!!!!!

Christmas Sweat Shop?!

What is with this hot weather in Florida this Winter. Don't get me wrong, I love temperatures in the 70º degrees but not in December. Hopefully it will cool off soon and I can enjoy a nice balmy 50º degree stretch of weather. Maybe I could even break out my winter jacket and wear it just once this year.

Despite the warm weather, Christmas was great and fun was had by all. Once again to much food was consumed, but what else is there to do but eat way to much of all the good Christmas food.

Hope Everyone had a Festive Holiday Feast!

New Meats on the Jimmy

After 5 years and 45,000 miles it was time to put some new meats on the Jimmy, so I put the biggest ones I could stuff into the wheel wells. I have to grind away some metal on the running boards so I could have enough clearance to turn the truck.

The new 32x11.50 R15 BFGoodrich All-Terrain Tires are a nice addition to the almost bald ones I had on before. The truck definitely drives different with the wider tires on now and also stopping is a little slower with the extra rolling weight. I'll be putting on performance brake pads in a the coming weeks and flushing the entire brake system with new fluid. Probably even new stainless steel braided front brake lines also, just to beef it up some for future modifications.
