You Got XP!? Then You Need Power Tools For XP

So you have Windows XP, if your like me and I know you are, then you demand more control over your operating system. I refused to try this set of awesome tools for a long time, why I did this I have no idea. I can tell you now that there is at least one thing from Microsoft's Power Tools for Windows XP that you will want to use. The most controlling is the Tweak UI for controlling everything on your computer from logon windows to icons and so much more that you have always secretly wished for more control over.

There are several other nice tools you can download like the Right-click image resize option and the Alt-Tab Replacement choices. Do yourself a favor and check these Toys.... uh I mean Tools out, I guarantee you won't regret it. Best of all its from Microsoft themselves, although they don't officially support it since its considered Beta software.

Movie: The Last Samurai - Awesome!

I was a little cautious at first about wanting to see this movie since its prime star was Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise was on a bad movie making run over the last couple years, I most certainly did not want to waste any money on another flop of a movie.

We took that chance anyway and went the movies to see this 2 1/2 hour movie. Being a student of Aikido and also studying the ways of Iado and the way of Bushido this movie was already interesting to myself just on those merits. I wasn't sure how the spouse would fare with the content though.

To our surprise we both absolutely loved this movie. I enjoyed the accuracy of the swordmanship and overall acting by Tom Cruise. The movie ranked up there with the Gladiator, by this I mean it had something to keep everyone interested in the film. Good story, great action, and beautiful scenery of Japan. It was full of emotion and never a dull moment. I would love to say more but I would like everyone else to experience the movie without giving anything away. See this movie in the theatre if possible, you won't regret it!

I Give this Movie an:

A+

Ft. Lauderdale New Years

Well we went to Ft. Lauderdale to watch the Orange Bowl and decided to head up a day early to celebrate New Years. We went out (took a cab of course) and partied around town. Nice new clubs and swank new happening places I think we'll make the trip down to visit again sometime in the near future. Maybe around Spring Break we'll head down south again to party it up.

Oh yeah, hey Sed, we found the Krystal burger joint, man was the food oh so tasty. Gotta love those Krystal burgers, corn pups, and chili pups. hehe... mmmm, mmm good...!

Orange Bowl Sucked! FSU LOSES AGAIN!!!

I travel all the way to Miami, drive to the stadium, drive all the way to the last row in the parking lot, walk almost a mile to the stadium, watched the entire game, ONLY to see moron kick another wide right field goal again! I'm thinking as a field goal kicker he might want to consider practicing some more. Even the coach turned his back when he made the kick for christ's sakes, I mean, how pathetic is that when your own coach can't bare to watch because he believes you'll pull the same stupid kick again. He lost the game to Miami last time they played together, and he lost it again. Whoohoo...ah...Crap....

Other than that the Pro Player Stadium was very nice, parking sucked when it came time to leave. Seats were good, view was good, and the food was good. Everything I would expect from a stadium was in excellent order, except the fact FSU lost to Miami again. STUPID KICKER! Did I mention I am not very happy with the kicker. hehe.. Oh, well, maybe next year.
