Killer PDA screens
Well I have had the PDA for a few weeks now and I must say it is an excellent tool. I have all my contacts, school appointments, client appointments and business contacts all crammed inside the little portable device. Not to mention the MP3's I have loaded onto it so I can listen to music when ever I wish by carrying a nice set of headphones with me.

I have also customized the screens on the PDA a little bit by using some new software programming to make it look just that much cooler. I can change amongst several choices of radical designs so that my PDA looks totally different everyday. Now I just need to save up the money and buy an add on Secure Digital card to store more files and MP3's to listen to. Maybe a wireless add on card so I can surf the net, chat, and email when I come across a wirless access point like at school. The possiblities are endless as to what this device can do.

DVD copying Illegal, 321 Studios in trouble?
Well, the good old judge decided that the DVD copying software by 312 Studios is illegal and put a stop on the production of their product. DVD X-Copy is a DVD copying utility which allows you to backup your DVD's and only from the original disc. You cannot copy the copy, they also put a splash screen up to inform that the disc is a copy just before the disc starts. Now I have no legal way of backing up my DVD's.
There are still available copies of the DVD X-Copy on some store shelves but those supplies are going very quickly since the ruling. I bought my legal copy of DVD X-Copy Platinum so that I can conitue to backup any DVD I want. Where this program is good is for those people with kids, or who wanna take some DVD movies with them to watch on their laptop or minivan. The original stays nice and safe from the kids and rigors of travel. You can make copies of your VHS movies but not your DVD movies. The Movie Companies are stepping on consumers toes along with the Music industry with all this anti-piracy stuff. Embrace the technology instead of fighting it, because they will only lose. People are even more encouraged to figure a way to go around their attempts to prevent copying now. Take the opportunity to improve the product for the consumers, and the ways in which we can obtain the product ( like downloading artists records and so on).
So go buy a copy of DVD X-Copy if you have a DVD burner. Just in case they don't win their appeal you'll still have the ability to easily backup your DVD collection. I wrote into my congressman as part of the demonstration to show my support for my ability to legally make copies of products I have purchased and own. Go to 321 Studios website and show your support.

Movie: The Missing
Watched the movie "The Missing" the other night with Tommy Lee Jones in it, and it was darn good. Very good movie, not a small kids movie but it doesn't have a G-Rating anyways so why worry. It's an old west movie turn of the century time frame with a good story, plenty of action and drama. This movie is a definite rental. So go rent it already!
