Sign away your life!
Well I go sign away the next thirty years of my life today. Now I gotta figure out where the hell that 800 feet of network cable and RG-6 cable I ran thru my entire house all connects to. I forgot to label the ends of the wires where they terminate in the control box. I ran the entire house back to a central control box along with all the alarm wires and everything else. So I better find my signal tester so I can locate them wires. Then I'll have broadband in every single room in the house with two hookups and two video feeds also. Very swank indeed! Gigabit lan for super gaming within the house is a must have these days. I just need to buy a new gigabit router and cards here pretty soon.
I'll be posting some finished pictures of the house in the house pictures section in my Photogallery. I'll be taking down all of the other pictures since I won't need to be refering the contractor to particular pictures anymore that I find problems with. So there will only be a few showing some of the construction phases and some interior shots I'll do in panorama.

House is Finished!! Yeah hoo!!
The house is finally finished after almost year and we can sign the papers and move in on April 29th. Finally no more apartments, condos, duplexes, or landlords! I can make all the noise I want and paint the walls any color I feel, which I feel white is a good color for awhile since I don't feel like painting anything. So I'll probably be busy for a week or so till I get everything set up in the house and my internet hookup is completed.

Mav2u Website Outage!!! DOH
Apparently an incorrect credit card number can bring an entire site down as it did this last week. For some odd reason my domain registrar mixed up numbers and didn't charge the renewal for several of my sites. But just 3 weeks earlier had no problem renewing several of my other domain names. They apologized and worked quickly to get everything corrected and up to par again after being down for 3 days. So if anyone received a bounced email or noticed the site had disappeared that is what happened. And that is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Stupid GM Gov-Lock
Well once again I'm replacing parts in a GM 10-bolt rear end. I replaced the whole rear end with one from Boyce Equipment with the added Gov-Lock from Eaton. Well it wasn't set up right from the get go and now it grenaded the spider gears and chewed the hell out of them because one of the spider gear teeth came off apparently (cheap metal) and chewed the hell out of the rest of the gears.
So I have to replace the entire internals on the carrier now to get her back up and running again. Next time I'm putting a 12 bolt or 14 bolt rear end on this truck. Bullet proof for sure then since I'm only running 32x12.50x15's on the rig. So in the future check any work on parts you have done. If I only took the time to check the tolerances on rear end when I received it I wouldn't be replacing parts again so soon. But Boyce did give me a practically new carrier with Gov-Lock to replace the one I have for mere pennies on the dollar. Guess they felt a little guilty about the bad product they gave me originally and wanted to make up for it. I give them a chance, and I'll set the rear end gears up correctly this time myself. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself!

Movie: HELLBOY
Hellboy was a cool alternative to the X-Men comic book movies. Good movie, I can see a sequel brewing maybe in the near future. It's no Spider-man but it's filled with funny stuff and good effects with plenty-o action. My kind of movie for a Saturday afternoon.
