Hurricane Frances

So far it has been a little windy and rainy with just some of the out Hurricane bands blowing thru. Not much standing water yet, everything seems to be draining nicely so far. We really haven't had anything but small gusts and a 10 to 15 mph wind outside so far today.

I see only small pieces of debris in the road from those stupid palm trees and lots of pine needles. The brunt of the Hurricane is still coming this way though. I'll try to take some snapshots of the hurricane and some video if anything interesting begins to happen. I'm expecting power to go out tonight when the winds hit so I probably won't be online again till sometime this week. We've got all our supplies ready to survive, but no generator this year. I'll pick up a generator sometime later this year so we can have power to the house for future power outages.

Hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures before power goes out to the website for everyone to see. If not I'll have plenty to post after the storm I'm sure of that.

Okay, time to go hunker down and peep thru the metal panels and watch the wind and rain. Wonder what interesting stuff will blow down the street.
