Long Time no Blog

Busy, Busy, Busy all the live long day. No time, between these last two hurricanes and doing some other stuff I've been swamped. Keep wanting to take some time and throw down some words, but alas I never seem to make it.

Did manage to buy a new truck the other day. A nice little 4x4 2000 GMC Jimmy, needs a little work to get into shape but it'll drive good again once it's repaired. Bad radial tire belt, front steering link, and some general clean up and she'll be road worthy again. Now to just decide what tires to put on the little truck. Do I go with street truck tires or some all-terrain tires. I'll have to do some research on what kind of ride I want and price range. Don't got all those dollar bills anymore, hopefully I'll find me a nice government job and that'll bring some extra flow my way again. So if your listening Uncle Sam I need another pay check! hehe Who knows maybe it'll work if I just ask.

Designed a nice little website for a friend of mine and his insane group of friends. They call themselves the Gym Ratz at www.thegymratz.com so swing on by and check out their site. I can't guarantee what they'll be doing but usually it's pretty entertaining.

I've also been doing some local ads for a restaurant in the local paper and posters. So far it seems to be going good, but I'll see if my design style is what they are looking for and if I can adapt to doing what they would like to see. Its different doing black and white for a newspaper compared to doing full open color ads. I'm used to manipulating photos to do what a customer wants instead of creating something from scratch to go with the words or what ever the client wants in that aspect. But its challenging and that's what life is all about I suppose, conquering those challenges.
