Hurricane Katrina
All I can say is WOW! What a major disaster for sure. Everyone under water, thousands dead, and FEMA is slow to help. It is beginning to look like the help is slow to arrive and costing peoples lives. Having went through Florida's hurricane season in 2004 I can relate to the feelings of people having no idea whats going on.
I never had a time that our devestation was this bad with last years hurricanes. I'm curious to see what kind of economical impact this will have on our economy, with New Orleans and the area being 1/3 of the shipping port for our economy. This will drive oil, foods, and other items up I'm sure.
Mother Nature seems pretty strong these last two years with all these hurricances one after another just drilling the southern U.S. over and over. Hopefully everyone will learn to leave next time these things hit. Sure it gets tiring leaving all the time but the one time you don't you could be stuck and even die.
