Deep Fried Turkey
Deep Fried Turkey was my new challenge this year. I used the new deep frying pot I purchased last year on sale. Filled it to the correct level with Peanut Oil, injected the 16 pound turkey with tasty seasoning, rubbed down the outside with dry rub and deep fried it to perfection in 56 minutes.
I love roasted and smoked turkey, but something about the juicy flavor held by the deep fried turkey was a tasteful delight I plan on having every year. I highly recommend deep frying a turkey. Just make sure you follow the strict safety instructions with using a deep fryer of this size and the fire hazards associated not to mention the possible burns risks. Careful preparation will ensure a successful turkey fry and a tasty turkey everyone will enjoy.

Fall TV Line Up
Well, I'm finally able to stop and breath for a moment between school, work, photography and everything else going on. Finals up just around the corner and pretty much taken care of.
Turkey day has come and gone with a successful turkey festival by everyone in the family and their version of a roasted, smoked and deep fried turkey. Black Friday hardly had any good sales this year. I don't know what the retailers were thinking this year but it wasn't about getting us to the store bright and early.
I will say that the Tivo has been on non-stop recording the fall line up of awesome new shows. I can't begin to say how many shows I look forward to catching up with this weekend on the Tivo now that I have some down time for the moment.
